I have always loved & collected books - soft & hardback, used and
new, especially mystery's.  Over the years I have read and collected
mystery’s and books galore which led me to open this bookstore.

  • February is the second month, and
has 28 days, except on Leap Years
    when it has 29 (2000, 2004, 2008,
    and 2012).
  • The Anglo-Saxon’s called February
    - "Solmonath," meaning mud month

  • March has 2 Saint Day celebrations.
    Everyone knows St. Patrick’s Day
on March 17th, but St. David’s Day
is celebrated on March 1st. St.
David’s Day, is the national day of
    Wales.  The day is commemorated
by the wearing of daffodils or leeks.
    [Both plants are traditionally
    regarded as national emblems.]

  • The flower for March is a violet.
  • “Beware of the Ides of March”,
comes from the days of Julius
Caesar so many say. It signifies that
someone is about to betray you or
do you harm. The date that Caesar
was killed by his friend Brutus in a
“coup t’tat” was March 15th, The
    Ides of March!
  • A very common superstition held by
many farmers about March is if
there is rain for the first 3 days of
the month this predicts a bad
    harvest later in the year.
